Lotus has finally introduced the Emira Turbo SE to the UK market, pricing it from £89,500 - £3,000 less than the supercharged 3.5-litre V6 variant.

This model features a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine sourced from AMG, delivering 400bhp and 354lb ft of torque. This matches the V6 in horsepower but offers an additional 44lb ft of torque. Consequently, the Turbo SE accelerates from 0-62mph in 4.0 seconds, three-tenths quicker than the V6, and reaches a top speed of 182mph.

Equipped with an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission, the Turbo SE includes the Driver’s Pack as standard, which adds features like stiffer sports suspension, launch control, an enhanced exhaust system, and a bespoke ‘Track Mode’ setting. Both the Turbo SE and V6 models come with Goodyear Eagle F1 tyres and cross-drilled brakes.

With the discontinuation of the First Editions and the previous entry-level ‘Turbo’, the Emira lineup now comprises only the Turbo SE and the V6 models, both available for order on the Lotus website.

The introduction of the Emira Turbo SE offers UK customers a compelling alternative, combining enhanced performance with a more accessible price point.
